The Good, the Bad and the Irritating

Americans are a self deprecating bunch. For the second year in a row, they have voted themselves both the most irritating as well as the friendliest travellers. Three thousand Americans responded to this survey voting Canadians and Australians right up there with them as the friendliest and invite the French and Japanese to join them as the most annoying. Voting for two countries whose first language is English and where there has never been a need to pack a pint of your own blood to travel to as ``friendly`` makes perfect sense. It is surprising France and Japan were voted most irritating. However; perhaps that day that shall live in infamy as well as that incident that provoked the need to change French fries to "freedom fries", are still resonating with the American people. Talk about holding a grudge. Personally, with all the TSA (transportation security administration) screenings, I`m with John Tyner, I don`t want anyone touching my junk, although I would refer to my junk as jewels. So you can't blame travellers from any country for becoming irritated.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, the question is, what celebrity or famous person, (because let`s face it most celebrities are famous for no reason) would you most like to share Thanksgiving dinner with? The top vote getters were British Idol contestant Susan Boyle; Brad and Angelina; Tom and Katy Cruise; the Kardashians and Twilight`s Robert Pattison.

Some folks just can`t keep out of the sauce at Thanksgiving and I`m not talking cranberries. So since loose lips sink ships, I thought several scoops could be settled if a table were set for say Mel Gibson; Lindsay Lohan; and Charlie Sheen.

Charlie has been drinking a lot.
He just can't keep out of the sauce.
He says someone has stolen his watch.
Happy Thanksgiving is here!
