TIME Magazine's 2010 person of the Year?

Who will be TIME Magazine's person of the year, 2010? That is the question. There is a rather lengthy potential list of candidates published on their web site. My vote goes to me. Yes me, the unemployed American. Well technically I am an unemployed landed immigrant with US citizenship status but unemployed none the less.

Polls show Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Endrogan in the lead. And you thought I was going to say Lebron James right? Who is by the way also on the list.

The rescued Chilean miners are front runners along with Julien Assange, founder of Wikileaks; Political satirists Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert; Fox News, Glenn Beck; and the next so called Madonna, Lady Gaga.

And just to prove TIME hasn't lost its sense of humour, Sarah Palin, Nancy Pelosi and BP's CEO, Tony Hayward also made the short list.

The usual suspects appear; Barack Obama; the face of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg; the Apple Ipad guy, Steve Jobs; and a host of political figures.

Glaring omissions include medal of honour recipient Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta (huge oversight); my personal favourite, New England Patriots quarterback,Tom Brady;and last but not least, those Transportation Security Administration (TSA)agents only too eager to perform a pat down in order to protect us. Whatever works.
