Went to see Stuart McLean’s Christmas show tonight and sat next to “doesn’t get out much” guy”. This guy hung on every word Stuart McLean spoke and there were plenty. He was so freakin excited he resembled Krysten Wiig’s character Sue, on SNL. He couldn’t sit still in his seat and his entire being was literally vibrating. There was one moment when I thought he might implode or at the very least his head would explode. I couldn’t look away. It was like a bad accident on the highway. You want to look away but you just can’t. Sitting next to him was actually more entertaining than the show itself. See, this is what I like about going out in Toronto. There’s always an entertaining sideshow to see.
