The End Game

It’s not bad enough the Mayan calendar predicts the end of us all to be December 21, 2012, Harold Camping, an evangelical biblical scholar in California is now rescheduling judgment day to May 21, 2011. Evidently the guy is pretty-good with numbers and formulas and he claims certain themes in the Bible can be linked to specific numbers, i.e. May 21, 2011.

Camping is not new to predictions nor very adept at them either or so it would seem. Previously, Camping predicted our demise to be September 6, 1994 but admits he must have made a mathematical error. I say if he’s wrong again he should step down and leave the predictions to those who know what they’re doing like gypsies, witches, and people with access to crystal balls.

I’m tired of always having to update my bucket list because of these schedule changes. How is anyone suppose to fit it all in or get anything on the list accomplished? If Camping is correct, this changes everything for me. I will never get to a Super Bowl. Never publish a book, pamphlet or even a flyer for that matter. There is not enough time for my tennis game to improve. Ok so that`s not fair to Camping. I could live forever and my tennis game will not have improved. I just want to stick around long enough to say my game didn`t suck. I`m going with the Mayans.
